From The Gram

From our friends @studentscan 🌻 ~ "When you’re at your favourite cafe and you purchase a coffee in a single use cup, you may not think much of it. “I mean... it’s paper right?” WRONG. ☕️ Disposable paper cups contain 5% polyurethane plastic, meaning recycling them is very difficult. This makes composting and recycling of disposable cups extremely rare.
☕️ With more than 8 trillion pieces of plastic dumped in the world’s oceans each year, and 91% of plastic going un-recycled, the earth can no longer keep up with this unsustainable consumption. ☕️ This is why you should say no to single use, and participate in our #studentscanchallenge. YOU can make a difference! ☕️
Think about it, you’re trading a single moment of “convenience” for the chance to reduce trash in our world. WORTH IT 💚💚💚"
