Why UYOC Began

My daughter and I saw David Attenborough at The Civic in February 2017, and he told us all to go do something to support grassroots community actions, to change our personal behaviour and to encourage proactive initiatives, and he's the man, so I did. I started uyoc.co.nz so I could help address single-use waste while supporting local NZ businesses, and at the same time, raise funds for NZ registered charities, without creating another product in this overcrowded world. Let's make David proud.
