Hapi NZ
"An ecological economy is a circular economy where, following permaculture principals, we seek to retain as much energy as we can at every point in the system. Our HapΔ« organic food scraps get picked up by Renee who feeds them to her organic pigs. Our non-edible biodegradable go to Biorich to be turned into compost. Both systems have closed loops (orange buckets and big wheels bins) and facilitate the waste streams of our production process becoming key inputs for the next production process. This is all simple stuff practiced by human beings around the world for millenia and really only forgotten by a few of us for a tiny blip of time."
